The author wrote that the more he exercised, the greater his appetite, the more he ate and the more weight he gained. To have a personal experience like this is one thing, but to make the assumption that exercise makes you fat couldn’t be less true or more irresponsible. Fitness is important to virtually every aspect of your life, and can play a big role in weight loss.

4 reasons to drink more water

If you think you’re not getting enough water…

  • Carry a water bottle for easy access when you are at work of running errands.
  • Freeze some freezer safe water bottles. Take one with you for ice-cold water all day long.
  • Choose water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages. Substituting water for one 20-ounce sugar sweetened soda will save you about 240 calories.
  • Choose water when eating out. Generally, you will save money and reduce calories.
