Today is Memorial Day… so let’s remember!

In 48 months of World War II there were 1,078,162 American casualties. One of those men was my mother’s brother, her closest friend at that time in her life. That’s a staggering number. But we know, and the world knows, that without our contribution to that war, civilization as we know it, would not have survived.
